Inside my i pod...

Hello hello,

Today I woke up with a song in my head, so I decided to share some of my all time favorite songs with you. The ones that help me crank me up at the gym when I have no other option than to run on the treadmill, do the stairmaster or get on the bike...BORING!

We all have those days, but than God for the invention of the MP3, aka ipod or any little gadget that helps us download music. Sometimes gym can get boring, other times the music options at the gym are just not what we are in the mood for. Taste in music varies a lot, but i personally think these 20 songs are pretty good. of course, if we are in the same sync for music.

I am usually inclined to electronic and house music ( I think). So let me share with you my all time favorites, some old, some new and let's try and make the best out of that tedious, monotonous walk or run on the treadmill...Some are newbies, other oldies. A little bit on the eclectic side.

1- Blurrd Lines Robin Thicke ft. T.I, , Pharell: "...the catchiest and sexiest pop dance hits of the year." Wikipedia

2- The Perfect Kiss New Order from The Substance album: "Widely regarded as a centrepiece of New Order's catalogue. The song has a complex arrangement which includes a number of instruments and methods not normally used by New Order. For example, a bridge features frogs croaking melodically" This is one of my all time faves. It really helps you pump it up.

3- I Follow Rivers, ( the Magician Remix) Lykke Li: I heard this song once in the movie Rust and Bone, "Shazamed" it, and Voila, fell in love with it immediately, it's sexy, catchy and helps me pump up my adrenaline.

4- In Da Club 50 Cent.: Timeless little Hip Hop, " guaranteed party starter" Wikipedia. I love this song, reminds me of my clubbing days in South Beach, it's catchy, and an excellent oldie but goody.

5- White Noise ft. aluna George: On my desperate hunt for new music my son recommended this one, to my surprise, It's really cool, sexy and catchy.

6- Young Folks Peter Bjorn and John: Yes, I'm sure you all have this song, but I can't get over how awesome it is. I love it. I play it every time I'm cranky, it's a happy song, cheers me up and helps me on the boring stairmaster. I mean, you really need an incentive, some motivation, so this quick paced hit is pretty helpful.

7- When I Think of You ( Funkstar de Luxe feat. the Crickets): This specific song is a blast from the past, but everytime I play it, I enjoy it like the first time. Love the words to it.

8- Rapture ( Avicii New Generation Extended mix): This oldie is a timeless tune in my i pod. This is a new remix, love it as well.

9- Hollywood ( feat. Penguin Prison): This one keeps me going, it's good to have kids that can update your music once in a while. Another recommendation from my son.

10- Josh wink Higher State of Conciousness: Some acid house music is pretty darn cool for adrenaline sometimes. This one really gets me going, like for running...yes.

11- One Life Stand by Hot Chip: Great for Cardio, great for dancing, it's funky and cool.

12- MGMT Kids': The lyrics may be a little weird, but I love this tune. I play it quite often.

13- Late Bloomers, Guy Gerber: This instrumental piece is just magic. Awesome tune to work out! It has a nolgastic side to it, but it is truly earcandy.

14- Firestarter fro Prodigy: Here, this someecard could apply to me:

I very much enjoy this song at the gym, it is extremely acid and rough, but hey, sometimes you've gotta break eggs to make an omelet and this one fires me up. Please don't judge me.

15- London in the Rain by variety Lab: I enjoy this one pretty much to cool down...

16- Stay, Minitel Rose: Quick paced tune, makes you wanna run a little bit faster, it helps, really!

17- Topaz, B-52's: This one is my all time favorite from this group, the voices are in harmony, Schneider's voice blends in perfectly with the ladies in this fine tune. I love it! It's one of those happy feel-good songs. This video includes another song calld Follow your Bliss, a little nostalgic.

18- I Remember Deadmau5 & Kaskade: I really enjoy this one, when I need to finish up a workout on a machine and get fed up of the crazy music I play, it helps me a lot!

19- Shooting Stars, Bag Raiders: Good one for everything. Even for driving...

20- Move for Me Deadmau5 & Kaskade: Sexy little tune...

21- Icona Pop, I Love it: Makes you wanna dance, jump up and down...makes me hyper.
