It has been a while, weeks and weekends have been hectic, but I am back...
After a hectic Friday of crossfitting and running errands, I decided, to wrap it up early and give some TLC to my blog.
And guess what? Today I will be posting on beauty stuff, again! But this time, I will be reviewing and sharing opinions on skin products, facial washes, moisturizers, eye creams, lotions, all the stuff we wear underneath our face to keep looking young and beautiful.
I began rather late with these, but I highly recommend that you begin before your 20's with a regular skincare regimen, so you can avoid the fine lines, wrinkles and age spots even earlier.

Please remember, the sun is your worst enemy, sunblock is crucial and must be used. The earlier the better...
Ok, here I go with the goodies!
1- Washing your face and controlling blemishes is vital for ppl with oily skin, like me. This line works beautifully and has products for all skin types. This little duo works magic on acne. When I had a hormonal disorder a couple of years ago, and got very bad acne on my chin and neck area, I went to every doctor and all of them tried diffferent techniques, aside from the fact that they wanted me to take Accutane ( all of them), and suddenly I ran into this beautiful Canadian esthetician and she recommended me the products I needed from this specific line, worked beautifully. Unfortunately, it is only found in El Corte Ingles, Spain,
but hey, if you head on to Spain one day, go to the Parafarmacia and purchase
it, you will love its scent and the clean fresh feeling it gives...it's quite
cheap, a drugstore product in Spain. Love this one. I even use it on my whole
body, when my skin is really sensitive. I had left my facial wash and purchased this in a rush, now, everytime I go, I buy two or three, smells delicious.

3- Avene Cleanance, This is a very light gel cleanser for the
face, and has no soap, you can find it here and more of their products in the
Dominican Republic, in the main pharmacies, it is light, fresh and good for all
skin types.

4-Wonderful cleansing gel, won't dry out skin, will be good on
impurities, a bit heavier than the previous ones I showed you, you can purchase
all La Roche-Posay products in pharmacies all over the Dominican Republic. I
would use this on dry skin, it plumps up the face, and gives it a healthy
moisture.

5- Great cleanser for all skin types, leaves skin feeling soft,
non-allergenic, and again, very light, non-irritating formula.

6- Effaclar is another wonderful product from La Roche-Posay, it is a cleansing gel formulated for oily skin, specifically, and it lathers beautifully, it is good for bacne also. It will not dry your skin, but it will sure rid it of impurities.

7- Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, baby-mild product that even dermatologists swear
by. So why is this $10 cleanser such a must-have? It's creamy, simple and isn't
loaded with chemicals or perfumes that can irritate the skin. Cetaphil products
are revered in the industry and their cleanser is one of the best drugstore
buys out there.

8- One of my all time favorite brands when I was a teenager, St. Ives. Remember the Blue Mud mask? Well, let me tell you, I still use their Apricot scrub for sensitive skin. As you can see, there is more variety now, Fresh skin, Timeless skin, Naturally clear and Sensitive skin. It works great and so inexpensive. Try to exfoliate at least once a week, so your skin glows and the layered dead cells dissappear.
9- Biore warming anti-blackhead cream cleanser, an interesting product, good for drugstore brand, it literally warms up your face and it's suppossed to bring out the blackheads, my son swears by it. I used it and I think it is for extremely oily skin, but it felt good and left my face feeling fresh. But overuse could cause dryness, so let's save it for the teenagers.

10- Sunblock is a MUST...24/7...I use Antihelios for sensitive
skin, La Roche-Posay has many sunblocks for all skin types, sold in Dominican
Republic, in most pharmacies. This one in particular has a very milky consistency. Very good for skin that breaks out.
11- This is another presentation of Antihelios from La Roche-Posay, but the consistency is thicker, depending on what you prefer. I use both, and they create an excellent barrier for my skin and protect me from the UVA rays as well as the strong sun we have here in the caribbean. The SPF factor also may vary depending on your needs. Avoids breakouts, great for sensitive skins.
12- This little stick? A much cheaper option for sunblock for sensitive skin, it is
great! I have used this always since it came out, and it protects quite well! It
is made for babies, so it will not irritate, sting your eyes or hurt your
pocket...Neutrogena pure & free baby. the only downside? Leaves your face white when applied, but I particularly don't mind.

13-This one is good, I used it for a while, but the smell
bothers me, I like the texture and it does a good job, but had to stop it, it
came a point where the scent was bothering me. Now I have it in my stash for
the beach, emergency or spare use. Also, it is good on your pocket, drugstore product.

14- Eye cream, morning, day and night...
Here I give you some
options of the ones I have used, they are all very good, I am still using the
age preventing ones, because eventually I will be using heavier ones, but they
make me break out, have to wait a bit.

18- One of my first serious eye creams, department store bought, not drugstore, great for beginners, mid 20's, 30's, I loved it. Philosophy has great products for all skin types. Bought mine @ Sephora.
