Sometimes it's just such a darn hazzle, and you just feel like vegging all day and eating and being lazy and doing nothing....right? Ughhh...But no...You have to move your ass 'cuz nobody ain't gonna move it for you...
That said, here's a fitness gadget I'm getting pretty soon...
http://www.nike.com/us/en_us/c/nikeplus-fuelband
It's so purrdyyyy and cool...and because I have been lacking motivation lately, I'm trying to get workout gear to "dig deeper"...Yeah, like Shaun T screams in the Insanity video...
http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/insanity.do
I did it, Insanity, I DID IT.
I am very proud of myself...look...
60 days of sheer torture @ home...alone.
Nobody wanted to do it with me...So, that was that.
I tried doing it again, but I just couldn't, it became too monotonous. One round is enough...
It is one hard workout.
Believe me when I tell you I have done everythinng within my power to be fit, and look thin since I'm 14'ish...
Aerobics, Slide, Steps, Spinning, Kinesis, Zumba, Pilates, Insanity ( crazy sh**), Running, Walking, Treadmill, Eliptical, Lifting, Stairmaster, Boxing, Kickboxing...etc, etc...
Darn, that's a lot of stuff, just to fight the battle of the bulge...but when I turned 25, had my second child, 16 years ago...there was a twist.
It got harder, and harder by the day to loose weight, there I began with hard core diet pills, ephedra based crap, cigarettes, diet sodas, lettuce, coffee and tylenol...and that was my road to my metabolism's perdition and my chronic gastritis.
That said, at the beginning it was great, I would starve for days with pills like asenlix ( amphetamines) here in SDQ they sold them OTC!!!!! I worked out on Ephedra ( OMG) a substance banned by the FDA, smoke and eat coffee and slim-fast 24/7...yes eat...those were my meals.
I looked fabulous, I was a size 2, a 5' 8" in a size 2...A dream...
The dream turned into a nightmare...Most of my ailments began because of this, but I'm not getting into this now. Ew, depressing and pathetic.
My point is, eat clean, excercise, stay healthy and avoid the white death (sugar, dairy, white bread, rice, potatoes), and if you can, consider eating gluten-free, you will feel much better on the long run.
Now, of course after a long journey of chronic Gastritis, screwed up metabolism, among tons of stuff, and a little more knowledge of fitness and clean eating and nutrition, I have discovered the world of crossfit...so this is my new thing now, THE BOX...
So, what is CROSSFIT?
http://www.crossfitdefined.com/what-is-crossfit/
The CrossFit prescription is performing “functional
movements that are constantly varied at high intensity.” CrossFit is a core strength
and conditioning program. The CrossFit program is designed to elicit as broad
an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness
program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten
recognized fitness domains.
In a nutshell, the toughest thing I've done in my whole
life...and I'm hooked, weird isn't it?
Ok, fusionistas, I'm out, hope you enjoyed my little
essay/story on my brief personal journey into the fabulous world of fitness,
with the good and the bad...#fitfam!
Ciao!
To be continued...
****Pardon me for my writing, with the comas and the
paragraphs, I'm just so excited I, like, babble everything real quick, and make
no pauses, that's me in real life.
I will try very hard to do my best and pay attention to
that...****
Thanx!!!
T.
